One of the types of objects in Praat.

An Intensity object represents an intensity contour at linearly spaced time points t_i = t₁ + (i – 1) dt, with values in dB SPL, i.e. dB relative to 2·10^-5 Pascal, which is the normative auditory threshold for a 1000-Hz sine wave.
